I am a certified Art Psychotherapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). I have a deep commitment to healing through art, my training in ACE’s Trauma and Young People, enables me to focus on the overview of Adverse Childhood Experiences and to develop strategies to support people to regulate and manage vicarious traumas. I am also an Attachment style and Trauma informed therapist.
I work with young people, men, and women. My practice is in the heart of Manchester where I provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals to explore their inner worlds through art. The services I provide encompass assessment, formulation, and psychological interventions, including parent work, group therapy, and individual therapeutic treatments. I believe in a holistic collaborative approach to healing where the individuals are the experts of their own lives. I recognise the profound connection between mind, body, and soul. Through art therapy, individuals will discover a non-confrontational and non-judgmental way to express and manage their emotions, even those that are difficult to articulate.
I trained as a barrister, however, when I experienced difficulties in my life, art helped me to make sense of my inner world. I am now devoted to helping others heal through the profound and transformative power of art.
I practice yoga, and sometimes incorporate yoga and mindfulness into my therapeutic practice. I am inspired by nature and growth.
If you are seeking healing, self-discovery, balance, and emotional well-being, I am here to support you on your journey to wellness.
I look forward to working with you.
See you soon. x
